So tell us more about your situation.

So you said you kind of started these side hustles trying to get out of debt.

How much debt do you have?

Well, now I don't have any besides the mortgage.

My wife and I, we paid off everything and got rid of the car.

It was mainly like project management-based stuff, but I just did it myself, just self-employed stuff.

Yeah.

Yeah.

And it ended up being $60,000 that I made on a side hustle.

Yeah, that's great.

Just some project management stuff, which, I mean, it was, but I didn't plan for it.

So with the money that you made, was that just all going towards debt?

Do you still have any of that saved up, or what's going to happen with that money?

Yeah, we have an okay emergency fund, and I guess the answer is that I would use that, but it just feels like I'm taking a step backwards again then.

Well, how much do you have in your emergency fund?

There's about $20,000.
