Prime Minister Anthony Albanese told Parliament his government is prioritising plans to toughen laws banning children under 16 from accessing some of the world's biggest social media sites.
Albanese said there's more to do to check the quote extraordinary power of tech giants he called unaccountable.
The government is also looking at expanding the e-safety commissioner's powers to enforce the restrictions.
