I um couldn't get an internship after my freshman year and like the local mm shoppers and the West Toledo Herald.

It just there wasn't yet that much opportunity for after freshman year, which I when I talk to students I always say that, you know, that I didn't have a internship after freshman year.

But sophomore year I did.

And Toledo hometown, which is great 'cause I three younger siblings as I mentioned.

Everyone was um

Uh beautiful home.

uh that we grew up in that I actually own now.

I'm the only person who works at the Olympics and Vacations in Toledo, Ohio.

And uh uh and love doing it and I have that house and we'll have it for a long time and you know I had a pool.

You know, it was just great, great time all the way around and lots of high school friends home.

So lovely time that way.

I totally recommend it while you're you know you're I mean my sights were set for m much b bigger places, but it was a great place to start.

And

And you're right, it was not sports at all.

It was the city desk.

And my assignments included a lot of writing of obituaries, which is of course uh you know, important super important.

It's the last thing being written about a person.

And I took that so seriously.

And you talked about as the as we all know from Northwestern, uh, the Medill F, which you just cannot make a mistake.
