Um and th I d I picture it.
I can picture getting up early and driving, you know, which of course there's no GPS, so you had an address and you've figured out where you were.
And um
had a map probably.
Uh and then went there and met him and watched him do every part of it and te took notes, you know, meticulous.
I obviously that was certainly me, I'm sure you as well.
Uh, that's why we all went to Medill and want to be a journalist.
We were already like those those kids, right?
Those young people.
And uh yeah, it was delightful and walked with him, walked the I can picture walking the sidewalks and going up to the homes and you know, people had gifts and cupcakes and we'll miss you and hugs and tears for him.
And I wrote that and then what was interesting, uh so I felt good about it, wrote it.
And then it came out.
And uh my mom dad, as I said, had had bought a couple extra copies of the paper.
Of course we got it at home and then
end up with a lot more.
And my dad said uh to me that summer at some point, he goes, Why don't you and I'm
Twenty.
Why don't you like, you know, let's get this framed and give a copy to m Mr.
Buzzdecker.
And, you know, so that and sign it and thank, you know, like a little note on it or whatever and put that all in a frame for him.
