It's been good.
It had a little drop off here a few years ago when the market kind of went crazy where everything was overpriced and everybody was out bidding everybody.
Was overpriced.
It still is overpriced.
And it just exploded where people were paying way more than houses were worth.
So it was crazy.
I've always been in the art, but I really started to dive into it deeper when I moved back to Destin because that was part of the identity that I lost.
Art was always a big part of my life.
It's who I was, what I did, and it just felt natural to go jump right back into it.
I do epoxy resin and I use a lot of textures and I try to create from my environment around me.
I use a lot of the colors of the water, the sand, the sunsets.
I use crystals, quartz, crushed glass, sand.
I just try to put it all in there.
It just creates something that's got a lot of movement and texture.
Some of them, well, they're actually done on wood because resin is so heavy.
It sinks canvas so you'd have this drop in your picture.
So you have to use these wood panels.
And my biggest one is like 30 inches by 40 inches, I think.
And then sometimes I do series.
I'll have like two or four.
