But basically, the phone wasn't where they said it was.

It took some time for them to hand it over to my friend Tashima.

So I would probably say we started seeing Wyatt maybe high school.

So then we've kind of met in passing, but Wyatt, he would stay at the house, you know,

we would see him a lot more than the others.

We would see him more occasionally.

So they knew, you know, he had a lot of friends and that was the thing at the moment, like he was pretty much, he could be friends with anybody, which was always a concern of, you know, sometimes you have to kind of pull back

and not be so trusting of people because although you have a genuine heart, a big heart, it's not always reciprocated on the back end, which I feel like we're living our worst fear because of it.

Because again, you know, when he was the one who just always uplifted his friends, like he was always, you know, posting, especially like his friends that played sports, he was always reposting their stuff, anything that they posted.

He was just always encouraging.

And we would tell him, you know, if you're not getting that back in return, you need to really think about your friendship with people.

Because that's a two-way street.

You shouldn't be giving more than you're getting.

Or trusting.

Yeah, absolutely trusting.

That's a big factor, too.

and really just kind of, you know, try to drill that into them.

And two, you know, we try to lead by example.

So that's just like any time they've had, you know, football practices, basketball, whatever, if any of their friends needed rides, you know, we would sit there.

If their parents hadn't made it home and they didn't have a key, okay, well, cool, we'll sit here in your driveway until your parent gets home.
