When I began
All those years ago, it seemed anathema.
To write in a
uh a a contemporary sentence or or something like that or change words.
Uh but now it's not.
Things have changed in all these years.
And so the idea, the big idea is in these adaptations
It's just as you say, it's about relevancy.
and how these stories can be relevant to today.
And I think if Shakespeare were here today to comment on that, he'd say, Good, that's right.
Make it work for the people that come to watch it, or you might want to uh you you want to come
uh to watch it, um, and so that they can fully understand it, fully grasp it and and
feel the way he wanted them to feel when he wrote it.
