Of course I still love England.

Uh uh

I'm an Anglo Canadian.

I'm I'm a British Englishman and I'm a Canadian.

But I've spent most of my life now in Canada.

Uh and and so i if there was a a competition

uh between a Canadian and an an an English person.

I would be backing the Canadians.

Um uh but but I I felt uh to answer your question directly, after a couple of years as a young, young man

came when I was uh twenty three.

That I got work immediately.

I was uh really quite successful.

uh in in several ways.

Uh obviously on the on the stage, uh a young actor at the Shore Festival in Niagara on the Lake, Ontario, and uh and and on television too and various other things I got involved with it.

I I was earning a living and doing better than my uh chums who were playing in the West End of London, Pete Poselthwaite and other people.

Uh he'd said to me, uh, How much do you earn in Canada?
