I would say that I feel similarly in that I'm super sympathetic to his project, The Naturalism.

I agree that Tomasello's account of how agency evolved sort of co-occurs with this really nicely.

I feel like Dennett has a branding problem.

I feel like sometimes the language that he uses...

seems to overstate and it hurts his point because sometimes he'll use words like merely illusory.

And I just don't think these sorts of ways of care, even just the term illusionism is just, I think it unfortunately alienates a lot of people.

But when you get into the nitty gritty of it, it makes a lot of sense.

I mean, yeah, I found myself sometimes frustrated with

some of the flippant language he uses.
