Yeah, I agree that when he uses that allusion, even more generally, he really wants to point to the idea that there isn't this single person, single timeline receptivity going on or something like that.
Like, you know, he still wants to think that we are subjects still.
He still thinks there's a point of view, but he wants to call into question our ideas about or what seems to follow naturally if we're thinking about a point of view, that there's this singular timeline, singular viewer in the brain and it's all presented to that viewer or something like that.
