We've got the new tennis roof.
We've got FIFA coming to Auckland.
We've got the International Football Festival as well and a bunch of other stuff across the country.
I actually think it's been really important because if we've got clear criteria about it, it's really rooted in cost-benefit analysis.
Every dollar we know we've been putting to some of these events, we're getting back $3.20 of spending in hotels, restaurants, and it's a pretty good feel-good factor that comes with it too.
Yeah, well, I think there's two issues.
One is, yes, I've reset how I want to engage with media going forward.
That's no different from what previous prime ministers have done.
I think Bolger cancelled press conferences.
I think Key and Ardern made decisions about where they would go on.
I'd also say that I'm pretty accessible compared to other prime ministers I talk to from around the world who don't have regular set-piece media engagements.
They just do it on a case-by-case kind of basis.
And then there's a second issue, which you're well aware of, which is that we respect the role of media, but it's also important that there are some standards and rules in Parliament.
And we've had an issue with TVNZ around that, and we've made that clear to TVNZ management.
