But because the cameras are so loud, we couldn't do performances.

And so finally, with this film, I called them up, and I said, look, if ever there were a film to do the entire film in IMAX, this is the one.
So can we find a way to silence the cameras?
And they built this blimping system, this kind of high-tech box.
You put the camera in, and then you can act.

Every three minutes, you're saying to the actors, just stay in that mode.
Stay in the water.
Incredibly dramatic scene.
Take a break.
Well, I think actually sometimes the limitations give everybody a real focus.
And so I went to the actors early on and I said, in the middle of your most intense scene, is it OK if we just stop the camera?
Reload it.
Yeah.
