Talk radio, you know, if you think about the Rush Limbaugh time slot, right, which was before Rush Limbaugh, there was another conservative talk radio icon named Paul Harvey.

And that's the rest of the story.

If you've ever heard, I was about to say, that's the way it is.

That was Cronkite.

The rest of the story was a Paul Harvey-ism.

And Paul Harvey was conservative without being a sledgehammer about it.

Rush became a sledgehammer.

But it was, you know, the talk radio, you got to think about it almost demographically, right?

Who's in their car more often?

It was like the traveling salesman, the person that's on the road, the sort of almost like

white-collar working class, meaning like it was sort of service sector, but sort of maybe insurance salesman, pacemaker salesman, you know, a small-time financial advisor.

How is that any different than the popularized mythology of how America itself was settled by the British colonists, right?

Exactly.

It feels like it's just a version of that.

I'm just, you know, a lawyer, but that's always sort of trolling for business.

And again, it is sort of

Working class white collar.

I don't know how else to call it.

Right.
