I remember an early interview I did with Duggan back when he was mayor and him going, I need people to move to Detroit.
Like, and it sounds like what you're saying with this report, you're going to have boomers retiring and we, and there's basically, there is not a population gain.
And I know that, you know, Detroit raised its hand first for refugees, right?
Raised its hand first because these Northern cities are just losing a lot of, a lot of people to the South, right?
We know this.
This is about, I tell anybody, I said, if you're running a political, if you're running a national news organization and you want to cover campaign 2026, I'd send a full-time person to the state of Michigan.
Between that Democratic Senate primary, the three-way governor's race, that sort of all the national issues are right there in the state of Michigan.
You can cover every issue under the sun.
