I mean, listen, Ghana did not try a yard, you know, for the first at least 60 minutes of this game.
I thought Ghana were, I mean, very solid defensively, extremely solid defensively and provided a question that England singularly failed to answer.
And, you know, I was thinking about it like, well, is this the sort of thing that, you know, is going to decide the World Cup for England?
You know, like a lot of teams will look at this, better teams than Ghana will look at this and go like,
Well, why would we, you know, like, why would we come out and try and go toe-to-toe with England when they seem to be really, really bad at trying to break down a low block, like the sort of thing that Ghana were, or, you know, the sort of two banks, well, a bank of four and then a bank of six.
Yeah.
Yeah, I mean, I don't know.
It's like the lack of quality from England in offensive situations was wild, you know.
I fully expected to watch like a washed up old striker being carried by his team today at the World Cup.
And I did, just not in the game that I expected to see it in.
Because... I also kind of think... Sorry, just as an adjunct to that.
I also kind of feel like Ghana didn't make enough of a play of it.
And in the absence of... This is obviously a really bad development.
That if the team who should have been awarded a penalty don't make a gigantic song and dance about it and refuse to restart the game, basically someone goes down to fake an injury so that...
players can surround the referee for two minutes and play.
