As an athlete, you're kind of used to sometimes having an unsettled bowel.
You train a lot, you're working really hard.
Sometimes you go out in a run and you're like, oh, for goodness sake, I need the bathroom.
You have to nip into a bush.
Many people are like, oh my goodness, yeah, heading off to the toilet on your run.
You're like very much used to that.
But it started to be a bit more frequent.
And I would get up in the morning and I'd need the toilet four times.
And I was like, it's not normal to go to the toilet and not nearly...
to feel satisfied.
I don't know if that's the correct term, you know, to feel like you've emptied your bowl.
And whenever I was going, I was feeling kind of crumpy and I was like, have I ate something?
Did I have something last night that upset my stomach?
I kept finding logical reasons for it, which many people would.
