I'll have to go up north.

But the referral pathway from a private hospital in Dublin to trying to access the NHS up north, I was like, I was asking Dr. Horgan, like, what's that?

And he's like, this is unusual for us.

Most people who access the health care here in Dublin are from the south.

And I'm very fortunate.

My big sister's a doctor.

Myra's a surgeon, a urology specialist doc.

And

I felt terrible because I just rang my sister.

My mummy was with me and my mummy's hands were on her mice and she's obviously feeling emotional that her wee daughter, but my mummy's a pragmatic person too and we were talking, okay, next steps, let's sort this.

So I rang my big sister and was like,

I hadn't even told her I was going for the scope.

I was like, look, I'm in Dublin.

I had a sigmoidoscopy today.

They found cancer.

And immediately, like, telling my big sister that news and then going, Myra, how do I get into the NHS up at home?

And I'm ever so grateful that, like, Myra works in the hospital that actually is my nearest big hospital to my hometown of Port-au-Ferry and the oncology centre where we would go.

Her colleague is a colorectal surgeon across the corridor.

So she's like, let me chat to my colleagues here.

And she just walked over and asked for their advice because obviously that's... And what was the outlook and the treatment plan at that stage, Ciara?
