People ask me like, oh, are you okay?
As long as you come, and I say that in the book, as long as you come towards people with love and care and generosity.
And yeah, like as well, it's tough.
I'm sharing this story with the Irish nation now.
but I've been processing it for a long time too my diagnosis was last May and so some of the things that people are reading in the book that are extremely emotional for them to read that happened maybe a few months ago for me and I'm on a journey of processing that and looking at the next step and you know getting some second opinions and I'm trying to look towards the fact that I still have hope
in going forward but yeah I'm glad that I'm coming across really happy I hope people don't think it's very strange but look I did say in the book like I was like oh I'm worried that I'm doing this wrong am I telling people wrong am I I'm like there's no right and wrong in life and actually just be true to yourself and I I prefer to be happy yeah it's a lot better for me too as well as everybody else

Yeah, that was exactly how I felt.
Yeah, that 2025 was meant to be.
I was so excited for the next chapter.
And that's probably one of the hardest parts of all of this is like more than the loss of what I really wanted that next chapter to look like.
That me and Tommy were based back in Ireland.
We had like looked in Dublin to want to live in Dublin or Belfast.
And obviously house prices are a little bit easier up in Belfast.
And I had been close to my family and his family are in Kells.
So, you know, halfway house, nearly between the two.
Get myself a little dog because now we're house owners now.
and be close to the mary peters track and it really felt like a full circle moment that i was coming back to where i started my athletics i was really excited about having tommy by my side on that journey and maybe him taking more of a uh front step and like a a role in that career going towards la and then yeah the symptoms that started to arise like
