But I could be, I feel like.
My circumstances have changed but I'm still the Ciara that I always was and the Ciara that devoted so much of her life to her sport and that doesn't change because I have a cancer diagnosis.
That person is still there and the things that brought me joy like being physically fit and getting out and being active are still the things that will bring me joy.
Yeah, and I keep saying I don't want to lose that Ciara to this cancer diagnosis and this cancer journey.
She's there and I'm like, that's me.
That's the true me.
And it's one of the things I loved about being on Uncharted that I was like, no, you can't take pity on me.
Like, obviously...
the guys had to plan that our trip wasn't off in a high up mountain like because i needed to have access to hospital if needs be and that was something that the team had to acknowledge but like i was like don't pussyfoot around me i am well able to to carry a bike across a river even if i'm falling in it and i was like yeah but i'm lucky that i have somebody in tommy that
He knows whenever I need the soft Tommy to give me a hug and he knows whenever I need the tougher Tommy.

Yeah, the door opened and it was like, yeah, you're clearly going to follow the yellow brick road that's bringing you to represent your country at the highest level and to travel the world and to meet some amazing people and to be able to push my body to its absolute limits physically, which I absolutely loved.
And it's so funny, like I would talk to my friends being like, isn't it mad that some people never experience pushing themselves so hard that they literally taste blood in their mouth?
Like that they never experience the sheer volume of lactic acid that you vomit at the side of the track.
or that you are keeled over after a really hard, like if I was doing some like very middle distance specific work, it's really tough.
Like the long runs are tiring.
You go out for a long run and marathon work is exhausting.
So like my, I've never obviously trained for a marathon, but you know, my marathon counterparts are like, you're just steadily always tired.
