So the idea is that these glasses can the idea is the glasses can be used to record audio, video, uh they can be used as speakers, they can be used for a a variety of things, including say live translating of languages.
And there are some genuinely helpful uses for this technology.
If for example
You have vision difficulties.
These glasses are a tool that you can use, say to that gives you more freedom, you know, you can read menus.
So if you were going into a restaurant and you have vision difficulties, you could use these glasses to read the the menu.
But the problem is that they are being used in ways that are not uh they're not appropriate.
So people are being filmed covertly, they're being used like with these pickup line videos where women are being hit.
Hit on by men and then they're uploading the the the video to social media or to YouTube or to it like they're basically being shared without people's consent.
And it does verge on it very it's it's creepy at the best of times, uh you know, if you are being filmed covertly.
And it is much more difficult to film covertly with a smartphone because that's always the argument for this is that you know you there's cameras everywhere now.
You have a camera in your phone, it's very difficult to
actually go anywhere where the possibility of films is not on the table.
But if you go to a concert venue these days, you know you see more and more people.

It does stop you recording if you tamp with it.
