I think even some of the younger girls have really matured and have stepped up and become great leaders over the years as well for...

for themselves so.

I want to ask obviously new coaching staff, Dave Connell in as Jess Lawton is also out here as well you know how does that I suppose for you feel you know you had success last season with the All-Ireland Cup probably hoping to kind of move on from that and see even more success this year does new coaching management does that bring a different style of play for this season does it take a lot of new things to learn or is it kind of almost very similar just with different personnel?

No, I think, as I said, every manager has a different style of coaching and different ways of playing and different ways of doing things overall.

So yeah, of course it will be different but I think we've adapted very well and they've settled in really well and they've made us feel comfortable and I think, as I said earlier on, it's a really good atmosphere and everyone's really looking forward to getting into games now and hopefully having a good start to the season.

You mentioned previously, obviously, that All-Ireland Cup success last year.

For you, where does that rank, I suppose, in terms of the more short-term memories to have experienced alongside some of those players just before they finished up?

Yeah, it was unbelievable.

Obviously, very sad, knowing that it may have been the last silverware you were going to win with some people, which is obviously heartbreaking, considering those girls have been with Oxford for as long as I can remember, and to think that you're not going to win anything with them again, obviously, it's very heartbreaking, but...

Yeah, it's great.

I suppose we haven't won anything since I think 2021.

So it was really nice to finish on a high for those girls.

And coming to the start of the season on a high as well.

Obviously knowing that we have silverware in our pocket from last year I think is a good boost.

How important is it rather that you look at the three trophies that are on offer this season and one of those has to come back to Wexford?

Yeah, obviously we'd love to get our hands on a trophy, but as I said, we are in a rebuilding era.

So, yeah, I suppose that's going to be our aim.

It's going to be everyone's aim to come home with silverware at the end of the season.

But I suppose we just have to focus on game by game.
