The Dublin office market has hit its peak and there will likely be a further softening in demand with increasing vacancy rates, especially in older stock.
So wrote John McCartney, a lecturer in property economics with TUD Dublin, in an article for the Irish Times this week.
He joined me in studio to discuss the outlook for the Dublin office market and I began by asking him to outline the evidence for his thesis that this isn't merely a cyclical downturn, but something more permanent.
