Roads have expanded.
Since COVID, our national vehicles on the road have increased by 10%.
Over the weekend, we heard that there were 3,100 people caught speeding on the road.
So which one is it?
Which of these factors?
And for some reason, the answer always lies with the deer.
The deer are the problem.
And I don't think they are.
And I can't answer that because nobody has looked at this in detail.
There's no statistics or figures or count or anything like that.
For all we know, the deer in Donegal are decreasing in numbers, but the cars may be increasing or the speed is increasing or the amount of roads or the direction of the roads.
There are so many variables.
I believe that nature can balance itself.
And we have been trying to control nature for years, not just in Ireland, but across the globe.
And it has been totally and utterly a disaster.
And you only have to flick on a wildlife documentary to see that.
By restoring nature and rebalancing it, and it doesn't necessarily have to be wolves.
You know, there are links there as well, which they're talking about reintroducing into Scotland, because they've realized in Scotland, the cull doesn't work either.
So now they're looking at rebalancing the ecosystem and it does all come down to balance at the end of the day.
