It wasn't like I randomly invented the idea out of nowhere.

Okay, so like they've been chatting about it.

We're getting serious ring shopping.

Because we've spoken of it in the past, I got emotionally attached to the timeline.

Specifically, I got attached to the idea of a fall proposal.

Picturing the moment in my head and honestly, I started telling people I thought it was coming this year.
