Hey, it's good to be here.
Good to be a long-time listener the past few years, so pretty cool to be here.
Yeah, so started where we all started at some point, playing domestic basketball.
Got a tap on the shoulder at 15, you want to pick up a team in the morning.
And that turned into three or four teams.
So my whole Saturday spent at Broadmeadows Leisure Centre back then.
And then from there, continued to play and then realised 5'8", not very athletic.
Probably going to take a path down this coaching route and picked up a first rep team.
And that was nine years as of last year.
Seniors as well, big V, NBL one, nine years as well.
And then being fortunate to be involved with the state program at a hub level and then got to join the 18s this year.
So that was pretty cool.
and then the senior level stuff's fun with the NBL one men right now at Kilo and last year fortunate to get in the door at Melbourne United as a development coach and that's been pretty cool too for my basketball which kind of led me here where I was like had to take that jump into basketball full time and this unique opportunity came up to join this space which it used to just be you and then Nick two years ago too and they worked out adding me because not decrease my workload just moved it
Yeah, but kind of cool with, like, kind of things that I was already doing.
And then it was like, oh, there's a chance to, you know, kind of impact at a bigger level too.
So, yeah, it's been cool.
Two weeks or a week and a half into the job, kind of getting my footing right now.
And I'm sure, like, leading into the end of season, start of the next season is when it's going to all ramp up.
And we make sure we get our coaches accredited and educated as best we can.
