The best thing I did in high school was pass.
It wasn't shoot.
A lot of people knew that.
The league at that time, remember 2005-06, there were no shooters.
That was when the shooting thing started to really come about.
Nobody can shoot.
I shot it better than average.
That was what everybody honed in on.
That's what I honed in on because I wanted to play.
Even when I first got to Utah,
We had a training camp year where all the point guards got hurt and they threw me in the point guard position in that spot.
I handled the ball in other spots and positions and made decisions.
It just became, what do we need?
What does your team need?
And when you play with Darren Williams, Kyrie Irving, Paul George, Kyle Lowry, DeMar DeRozan, you're not going to be the ball handler.
So we just talked about this at the game the other day, but also crazy enough yesterday, one of my OAU teammates, shout out to Jordan.
