Rowling was physically abused by her first husband and was sexually assaulted in her twenties.
So she views this issue of transgender people in women's bathrooms, in women's locker rooms, in women's sports,
She views it through that lens of allowing potentially predatory individuals into women's spaces.
And she points to examples like Isla Bryson, who was a transitioning woman who was sent to a women's prison even though he was a man.
Before he was sent to prison, he raped two women.
then transitioned, and then was sent to a women's prison.
Examples like that.
Common sense.
Sure, yeah.
And the trans side of the aisle.
I spoke to folks who disagree with J.K.
Rowling because I wasn't trying to push a narrative in the book but just tell her story objectively.
