But very, very quickly then, I mean, you had to have a hysterectomy.
And radiotherapy and chemo.
And when was it that you suspected that it actually worsened, the cancer had worsened?
You found a lump, didn't you?
Like, I think people hearing will think that was a horrible shock, the stage one or the original cancer diagnosis.
But there's hope.
And then seeing it progress like that to stage three and then finding another lump and stage four.
Despite all the gruelling treatment.
Yeah.
How do you begin to process that?
And what were you told that day in terms of life expectancy?
Did you ask the question?
You know, at what point did you say, though, that this doesn't add up, that I was supposedly clear in 2016 and 2020 and then it progressed so quickly to the point that you had advanced cancer in 2023?
You took action then against the HSE and you took it yourself in 2025.
And you were in the depths at that point.
A stage four diagnosis, two young girls.
But the need was there, was it, for that state apology?
And why is that, that you feel you have to do that?
Do you still have to explain yourself?
So when you got that apology that was read out to court, expressing deep regret to you, to Alan, to your children and the wider family and acknowledging...
