And I think it's really important to note for children, especially who live with orthopedic conditions like scoliosis, oftentimes their actual treatment plan cannot happen until they have an MRI or a CT scan.
Yeah, so I know Brian parents who have had to go to private hospitals to access MRI scans.
So I suppose the fear is also it's about the diagnostic part, but it's also about the pre-operative planning.
And updated MRIs are seen as just a basic in international centres.
Well, I suppose it adds another layer of risk because your child sometimes loses out on a window of opportunity.
Yeah, and again, I think we need to ask the question, you know, currently, the scans that our children have access to, are they up to the standard required?
And that is a really important question.
So if we have the best technology sitting idle in a hospital for two years, and there's so many children on a waitlist, and even if they do get to get access to a scan in CHI, is it good quality scanning?
Yeah, and I mean, I suppose I'm no expert on this, but you would worry and be concerned about the lifespan of technology in terms of, you know, obviously it's such an area where there's newer technology the whole time.
So, you know, you would worry that we're going to be starting off in the back foot when eventually the hospital does open.
