And I think that if we try to continue to do the things in the same way that we've done them, we're not going to be successful in those illnesses and diseases that you talked about.
They're going to continue to laugh at us and grow even stronger.
So I love what this conversation, what you've said.
And I'm glad somebody at your level
I'm going to use your words for a lot of folks.
So anyway, that's my thoughts.
So I'm glad you asked that question about the difference between Alzheimer's and dementia.
Because one of the stories I always talk about the fact that, you know, in thinking about this particular topic, I said, I wouldn't mind getting Alzheimer's, but I didn't want dementia.
And it was that kind of thing where you don't understand, you hear certain words and it just starts to cause you to do... I do not want either one of them, but I'm just saying in terms of myths and understanding.
The other thing too that I think is important is that I'm also involved in a group that's called HATS, Healthy Aging Through Senior Years.

a study because, you know, in my community, I'm an African-American in my community.
So many times the impact of Alzheimer's or dementia was often played off as, oh, they're just getting old, you know, and, you know, so they would do some interesting things and we would just say, oh, that's just grandma.
That's where she is, you know, kind of thing.
In fact, quite honestly, I didn't like my grandmother, you know, but as I think about it now, I think it was because she had Alzheimer's.
