So coming out of Northwestern, I wasn't 100% sure what I wanted to do.
I joke around when I graduated from Northwestern, the first thing I did was spend $300 on my real estate license.
So I wasn't sure what path I wanted to take, but I knew ultimately at the end of the day it was going to revolve around
entrepreneurship and sports.
And two decades later, here I am.
Yeah, it's funny.
When she started working for the Bears, she actually just reached out to me on Instagram and we just connected on Instagram and we immediately hit it off.
And it's funny because when I started talking about this idea, Level Sporting Club, publicly,
Um, a lot of people approached me, you know, typically you open up a business, you're trying to raise money, you're trying to source funds.
And I was lucky and blessed enough where when I initially started talking about level sporting club and doing my pop-ups, the amount of people that came and approached me and were like, Hey, we want to support this.
We want to invest in this project.
And again, you know, the goal and the point of level sporting club is to, to show that women's sports can't sustain a business.
Yeah.
Oh, God, that's unbelievable.
Well, first of all, I wish...
that was that happened you know in in 2001 when i graduated northwestern but i will say i chose my career path because i knew in 2001 there was not an opportunity at that time to play professional sports that could sustain my life you know i you know back then in in 2001 they were getting paid 20 30 000 in the wnba so um fast forward to today seeing that young girls
Now, no, they have an opportunity to do this on a professional level.
It gives me goosebumps.
Yeah, no, I mean, but I guess, like you said, a good problem I have when, you know, the man is there and you're seeing the support and, you know, yeah, but, you know, you're not able to make it to Sky Game.
You could definitely step into Level Sporting Club and, you know, what I'm building there is a community.
