OK, so if there's not going to be a change in leadership in Iran, we're not going to effectively decapitate the current theocracy, then.
Isn't this just more of kicking the can down the road to Buck's point?
We know we can't trust Iran.
And at some point there probably will be another Democrat administration in office like Obama that they can take advantage of, make a lot of claims to lie and just kind of recreate this situation time after time.
So that's point one point two on this.
Is there any, to your knowledge or ability to kind of divine, what is Saudi Arabia, what is Qatar, what do the other Muslim countries want to happen to Iran?
Because it seems to me that they actually like them having an incompetent government because in some way it elevates their own governments without having to worry about a competent government to compete with in the regions.
Last question, Deborah.
We appreciate the time.
Last time in June, as you referenced the 12-day war, we heard a lot about, oh, there's going to be significant American casualties or Iran is going to fire back and we're going to see World War III happen.
Iran didn't do basically anything and did not appear to have much ability to do anything.
Do we have any sense for whether they have better or worse capabilities?
I would actually presume worse.
In other words, is there anything Americans or even Israel should really fear from Iran at this point?
Thank you for the time, Debra Leah.
For people out there who are interested in following you along during this Iranian latest imbroglio, you said Sunday night you think the attack might come.
Where can they find you?
Thank you so much.
We come back, we'll take some loaded lines.
Still a lot of people wanting to weigh in on Open Line Friday.
