But Jasmine Crockett has a 0% chance of being elected statewide from Texas.
I want to repeat this.
I think even Democrats are aware of this.
If Jasmine Crockett is the nominee, there is a zero percent chance that Republicans have to worry about the Democrat in that race at all.
I think elite Democrat leadership is aware of that.
So when I hear and see this controversy emerging, I say, my goodness, this is elite Democrat power brokers deciding to set up this James Tallarico interview.
If it airs, it's a huge bonus to him.
But if it gets shut down under this FCC equal time doctrine, it's
I would argue it's an even bigger bonus for him because most people would have never seen this.
But for the fact that Stephen Colbert went on and attacked his bosses for not letting him have on James Tallarico.
So I think, again, the fact that this was scheduled to happen the day before the Texas primary ballots went out and people started to vote.
This feels to me a bit akin to what happened to Bernie Sanders back in the day.
This is the Democrat Party saying, we got to kneecap Jasmine Crockett and make sure she's not the nominee because maybe we can put this seat in play with James Tallarico.
Do you see that?

Again, there's no way the Republican nominee, whether it's Wesley Hunt, whether it is Ken Paxton or John Cornyn, is going to be allowed on Colbert.
And this is where the significance of that letter from Commissioner Carr comes into play.
I just look at this and say I can't get over the fact that this happened the day before voting was about to start.
