I've noticed you guys use the phrase back in the day quite often.

What exactly does it mean?

I'm 93, and I'm sure it does not mean the same to me as it does to you, you young whippersnappers.

Yeah, back in the day for you could mean back in World War II.

which is truly back in the day.

But for Buck and I, I would say back in the day means 80s, 90s, which is like recent history for you if you're 93.

We should also mention, as we are getting ready, we're talking all about the Texas primary season.

You guys are going to decide a lot.

If you look at the prediction markets right now, Democrats are favored to take back the House and Republicans are only about 60 percent to maintain control of the Senate.

Look, the House is probably going to impeach Trump if they get taken back.

I understand you guys can predict exactly what they will do.

What I will say is the Senate, I mean, you guys know how hugely important the Senate can be for the last two years, particularly as it pertains to the Supreme Court.

Because we've got a lot of justices who are over 70 years old now.

And as we saw happen with Ruth Bader Ginsburg, you never know, or Scalia for that matter, you never know when that moment is going to come as soon as you are over the age of 70.

And in particular, the risks just increase.

And so I would say, look, we're still, you know, 10 months away, eight months away, nine months away from official verdicts coming down.

But I do think the Senate, as much attention as we should put on the House, the Senate is by far the most significant of the of the impacts that could happen in 2026.

If.

Republicans lose control of the Senate, you lose the ability to get a lot done that has to do with the judiciary in a way that I don't know very many people have thought about.
