Well, speaking of overrides, we're probably going to see a bunch of that later on this week because this the everyone.

in the legislature is going to be coming back on Thursday and Friday, April 9th and 10th, for at least a two-day veto session.

And who knows, if they want to meet longer, they may.

That's true.

So we will definitely see a bunch more vetoes from the governor before then, and then we'll see what they want to do to override or not.

Mark McCormick has written for Kansas Reflector since summer of twenty twenty one.

The distinguished journalist has a long career with stints at the Wichita Eagle, the Kansas African American Museum, and the ACLU of Kansas.

He also co wrote a book with his lifelong friend Barry Sanders.
