And I I really wanna take emphasize the point that you made there, which is the volume of books that you guys publish. matched

You know, you said around fifty a year. matched

So in other words, basically y'all average about a book a week. matched

So just uh just a a personal note here. matched

So you're fairly new at the press. matched

Say a little bit about how, you know, kind of your background and how you got on board. matched

Well and uh you know, I I can say, um I I uh have matched

a a couple of projects that I'm working on with the press at at this this moment. matched

Uh but one of them is uh you know is more or less done that we're going through right now. matched

But I I think you know your statement really underscores what I think a lot of people don't understand about publishing, which is the extent to which matched

You know, people often think, oh, I'm gonna write a book or I'm interested in writing a book, and they think about it basically as being, you know, kind of two stages, like, well, I write it and then there's an editor that I work with. matched

And really that's that's like stage one of so many stages. matched

Yeah. matched

You know, when you get into things like the the production and the editing and the back end and all that and that's that's a whole I mean it's it's a it's a complex complex process that does require more than just a writer and an editor. matched

Well, and that's the other thing, right, is that it's in you know matched

It it can it it almost always is intensely collaborative. matched
