So this is, I am in the Federated States of Micronesia, which is just south of Guam.
So this is an independent country, but it is about 400 miles or so from Guam.
And it's freely associated with the U.S.
And there's about $2 billion worth of military or dual-use infrastructure that's scheduled to go into this island of Yap, which has a population of about 5,000 people.
The NDAA announced about almost one and a half billion just for the runway alone.
But the Chinese are already on the ground.
And if you remember, we covered an island a few hundred miles down the chain called Wuliai, where the Chinese are revamping an old Imperial Japanese runway.
And that runway will be opening on February 9th.
That runway is about 400 miles from Guam.
There will be a huge opening ceremony.
