So Diego Garcia is this US-UK base, which is in the Indian Ocean, which President Trump wanted to use as part of the planning for the Iran operation.
And the UK said no, initially at least, and along with the bases on land.
Now,
The UK has been trying to offload the base onto Mauritius, which is very close to China, and the whole thing just reeks.
And the sort of one potential positive outcome of the Iran thing is it's called detention.

The legislation to sign the agreement with Mauritius is stuck in the British Parliament, and unless it's ratified by the end of the month, it may time out, which would be a good thing.
But again, it's another area where attention needs to be paid, very close attention.
