So I still think it fits.
But it is fair to say that there is more transparency in professional sports, especially with the top players.
Yeah, it's certainly possible.
And we can't rule that out.
Definitely.
You know, pay attention.
fairness is obviously important.
Our research didn't need to point that out.
But one of the things that we, that's a key part of what we found is that it specifically affects coordination.
And to the extent that you can't really control, like some managers don't
don't have the ability to just be like oh you know your your pay doesn't seem totally fair let's fix that right now but maybe now so obviously if you can you should right like fairness is important uh but to the extent that it's out of your hands one of the things that that i think is useful from what we found is that coordination is was what suffers and that's the reason why a team might perform less well uh when there is pay inequity
so if if maybe what you can do is shore up the coordination part like even if you don't have control to be able to change what people are being paid maybe you can put greater emphasis on the coordination the teamness the need to work together and maybe you can sort of
squash the negative effects that could come, at least to some degree.
well pay attention you know pay attention to what what you're what you're paying these players right like uh sometimes you might be like well it's great that we have this player under contract who is worth more and maybe the hidden cost of that is realizing that well they might not play as well and you might not get what you're paying for even paying less so that might be reason to uh
Fix, fix the pay.
