And I doubt he will.

Yeah, well, that's true too.

And I doubt he will this year with the publicans kind of trying to pressurise him for tax deductions, et cetera, as well.

So I doubt he'll go there.

And I think people are going to get a bit back in income tax for sure.

Is it going to beat inflation?

I don't know.

Is it going to beat last year's budget?

It certainly is.

Are there going to be promises for the years ahead of a real cut in the income tax burden?

For sure there will be.

Will they be delivered?

We have to wait and see.

A recent survey from Royal London Ireland suggested Irish workers believe they will need almost 41,000 euro per year for a comfortable retirement.
