And Optimus saying, look, the technology gains from AI justify these huge ratings on the markets.
And others saying, well, hold on a second.
I know that AI is going to be important, but we're not quite sure what it's going to mean yet.
I think that argument is playing out again now, but you're right, he was one of the first to notice it.
I mean, one of the interesting things about him also was that markets are used now to central bankers giving guidance about where interest rates are going to go so that when things happen, they generally aren't a mistake.
But back when Greenspan was in the Fed, he specialized, if you like, in giving out mixed messages and speaking in circuitous language, which had analysts wondering afterwards what he actually meant.
Did he actually mean that, you know, which cities are going to go up?
Are they going to go down?
Are they going to stay where they are?
And I suppose he deliberately left himself room for maneuver in the way that he spoke
so it was an interesting tactic and very much different from where he is now of where central banks are now and also I think was part of this whole myth or reality in some ways that he was to use the phrase that was once used in relation to Charlie High dating back to history of course it was Una Voce at the Fed and nobody stood against him he was very much in charge of

I mean, look, who knows?
If any of us are right 60% of the time or 51% of the time, we're probably doing pretty well.
So, look, it's very hard to put a figure on it.
But what we can say is that certainly when he retired, people were lauding him on all sides of the political divide and in the markets and
saying that, you know, this man has been a guru of the markets and a guru of keeping the American economy going.
