There's all that going on in the background.
So there's absolutely huge political incentive for Donald Trump to get something sorted out.
But the Iranians obviously see this and they're using this as a pressure point on him to try and get a deal on their terms.
And then the flip back is, well, if he agrees on their terms, the question at home is, well, why did you bother in the first place?
Because you haven't really achieved anything here in terms of getting commitments on nuclear enrichment and so on, which was the whole point of it in the first place.
Yeah, so there may be a bit of remorse in the White House about this and, you know, it appears to be the usual, you know, it appears to have gone through a cycle where his military people say, well, if we do this, then Iran will agree and then he does it and then it doesn't happen.
So the reports are that he kind of has resisted.

But every expert you read has a different take on what's going to happen here and what's going to play out, which is why it's, as John said, so difficult from an economic point of view to actually make any kind of credible forecasts.
People kind of say the war will go on or the war will stop.
But the kind of messiness we're seeing at the moment could just drag on as well.
And the strait could be open one week and close the next.
And some boats might be getting through and some boats might not.

No commercial deposits have come up.
I mean, as John said, gas is another issue.
But oil, I don't know.
