I was raised, my mother told me, you're born, you're black, and you're male.

So you're looked at as a threat.

So you have two strikes in life.

So the best thing you can do is learn to properly handle yourself, good manners, be respectful, and get an education.

Because you're going to have to do the job, but you're going to have to do it twice as hard to prove that you deserve that job.

regardless of how you want to look at it.

And the thing is, if my mom taught me this and her father had taught her that, when did that thought of, if you already know the challenges you're up against, when did the thought of not facing them change to, well, I quit.

I'd just rather have it given to me.

It wasn't like that before.

We had to go get it.

We had to prove that we deserved it.

I grew up and we respected people and we respected them until they deserve disrespect.

When they were disrespectful, that's when it's time to get disrespectful.

But a person holds the door open for you, you say thank you.

It's like if you hold the door open for somebody, you would hope they would say thank you.

But kids today will walk by and just look at you like you're crazy for simply being nice and holding the door open.

It's people have no manners, no morals, no more.

And it's actually my generation's fault.

Dropped the ball and didn't teach it.
