We have to love each other and respect each other and tolerate each other regardless of how many differences we have.
So that's a different definition of tolerance that I've seen morph and change over the past 45 years.
It's really no different from the first century.
Christians stood before Roman soldiers and the Roman soldiers said, say Caesar is Lord and live or else maintain that Jesus is Lord and we're going to kill you for it.
We're going to kill you, man.
And the followers of Christ had to make a decision.
Am I going to capitulate to fear?
Or am I going to be thrown to the lions because I will refuse to deny Christ?
That's pretty intense.
That's pretty intense.
So the challenge is, think through what your convictions are.
Think through what is true, what is real.
And when Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me, he wasn't kidding.
