What I've done with my son, like I said, he's a bit entrepreneurial.
So he started baking at a pretty early age and he sells his baked goods.
He sells it at the farmer's market.
He does orders, all the rest.
Sometimes he makes quite a bit of money.
And I'm like, that's great.
You're not spending all that.
That doesn't make any sense.
So we started buying investments.
They're in my name, but I'll transfer them to him once he's old enough.
But he is now seeing how his investment from years ago has grown into a bigger amount now.
So he's keen and eager to buy more money.
funds because he realized he sees it he sees the the best way to experience it and to see the benefit of it is to live it so he's eager to buy more investments because he knows i sold something three years ago i made x amount of money half of that money i spent on whatever and
And it's gone.
The other half of that money has now grown to outpace the total amount that I made.
So he sees the value of investing because he's investing.
So that's how I think we can help our kids learn about the value of investing and how they can see the value of wealth building is by bringing them into the conversation.
