It's pretty clear of his priorities.
He chased what he thought was most important.
I think after 23 years in the NBA, LeBron James knows that people's minds about him are made up.
I feel like that there's almost nothing he could do to push you off of Jordan is the best player ever.
You know, he'll never be as good as Kobe or whatever, whatever sort of like position exists.
I think he is very aware that the people who love him, love him and the people who don't don't.
And I don't think, I don't think that's this.
I think what it is is that like the feelings that you get from,
as a high-level pro athlete, the ones that you'll never feel again when you're gone, when you're done playing, the ones that matter most to him are high-level basketball in the most competitive settings.
And I think that's what this is about.
This is, I think, in that way, Jason, it's a selfish decision.
It's about being able to feel something and chase something and keep going on that and keep trying to push in that way.
I don't think it's about legacy or barbershop arguments.
I think he knows where he stands on those.
