And corporate is almost a game that you have to figure out how to play well.

But instead of complaining about that person getting promoted, maybe you can just lean into that a little bit more.
But I must say that this is probably going to be super unpopular, but that's just my philosophy.
If the game is set in a certain way, lean into the game.
Like play the game instead of trying to change the game.
Also because it can save you some work.
So you don't have to work as much as you have been working.
But okay, let's see what other people are saying.
Remember, it's management who coined the phrase, if you have time to lean, you have time to clean.
AKA bullshit jobs.
Define outputs.
Some people's jobs are not doing things but organizing other people's jobs or they are paid to come up with ideas or they are supposed to teach others.
They are called middle managements.
They don't actually do anything.
If what someone else does or doesn't do has an effect on my job, I could care less as it's none of my business.
If on the other hand it does, then I would talk to them first.
If that didn't work, then an email would be sent into it.
Yes, if it affects you, then you can talk to other people about it.
