A center that can make shots and block shots, essentially, will take that.
Now, you can't always get that.
So then we have to look at, all right, the impact that they have on the game.
If it's a guy that's so elite, you know, rim rolling, we're going to play a lot of pick and roll, rim rolling.
and protecting the rim then you know if he can't shoot then he can still impact the game you know but ideally we would take a guy that can that can stand out there and make some shots because it pulls the big away from the rim yeah you know and so if we can do that that's what we're looking for but we're gonna do whatever we can to just make the make the make the team fit when you when you start in your team what's the first thing you want to recruit like a point guard or big what's what you think you need to start with
Man, that's a good question.
It's really hard to play the game in college basketball without a point guard, without multiple point guards, you know, just with the pressure, you know, the actual pressure on the ball, but also the pressure in the building, you know, and just like the level that it rises, like every possession matters, you know, to not have somebody that can like have poise and settle your team.

So I think, I think it probably starts with a point guard, you know, but you also got to have somebody that you can give the ball to and they can just go get you on, you know?
I've never met a great coach that hasn't had that, you know, like all good coaches have really good players.

When you recruit a point guard, obviously you are a point guard.
