You give up the 10th overall pick to go get a guy who's extremely talented, is going to be very good, and you pay him more money.

I just don't know how that makes good business sense.

So I guess my question is... And they drafted a DN last year in the first round.

I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that they're the 20th best defense in football.

And you're now making the assumption that they're going to be the first ranked offense in football.

And in fairness to Cincinnati, they have gone out and tried to address it in multiple ways defensively.

For me personally, getting over that hump of the –

letting a superstar go, getting another superstar in, but giving up the 10th pick in the draft who you could have for five years.

That part made me less inclined to feel like this.

It wasn't a smooth flight, but you got there.

I don't know if it was turbulence or you fell off a cliff.

And those numbers that you showed, that was yards?

That wasn't scoring defense, right?

That was scoring defense.

There were a lot of encouraging things that he did, but to your point about Tui yesterday where you're worried about his durability and whether or not he'd be able to make it through the season, I think one of the things that helps him be successful is he does have a lot of bravado.

And he's talked about, I'm not going to change the way I play.

But he's got to realize as the starting quarterback, this is a different league than what he's been used to.

And if you keep putting yourself in harm's way, it's just a matter of time before you're sitting out and you can't do what the team needs you to do.

And that to me is going to be a big learning curve.

You love the exciting plays, but you don't want them at the cost of him not being able to participate.
