I think it has actually been quite helpful to have people on both sides of the aisle because Medicare is inherently a government organization, uh government program, which even though it's, I'd say nonpartisan, bipartisan, everyone.

There are political components to it.
And uh in order to get anything passed, if we want to pass any regulations, it does have to go through through Congress.
So that's been helpful.
Um
Sort of neither.
Um, so uh for the first four years, um, all government engagement I did personally I did just myself.
Um, I reached out to Congress members, I cold emailed people, I got interviewed.

Yes, I I when I was at Palantir, again, I'm never I've never been a lobbyist as a technical legal term.
I've never been a lobbyist.
I've never technically lobbied, um, I don't think.
Uh um, but I've spent a lot of time with with uh legislators, with federal government.
So I I felt pretty good about how to engage with them and and how to educate them.
Um I was very fortunate to be invited to testify at the Senate in twenty twenty three in the at the Senate Finance Committee.
They were doing a hearing
on how to improve Medicare marketing for seniors.
Um, and so that was a really cool life experience to be able to testify in front of the Senate.
Um, but uh the pat the past uh the past year, I've been leaning on some more, some more additional support um as we've been trying to expand uh the messaging and get more pro-consumer uh regulations in front of Congress members.
